Sushant Case Gets Murkier

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family had informed the Mumbai Police that he was in danger and immediate action must be taken, their counsel has told India Today TV.

“We had told the Bandra Police on February 25 that Sushant is not in good company and please have a look at him so that no harm happens to him. And that was the time when he was in complete control of Rhea Chakraborty,” said senior advocate Vikas Singh.

However, no action was taken by the Mumbai Police, he added. The Mumbai Police didn’t immediately respond to the charge.

RHEA MOVES SC

Actor Rhea Chakraborty, accused by Sushant’s father of driving him to suicide, has requested the top court to transfer the case filed in Patna to Mumbai. The case is already being investigated by Mumbai Police and she is willing to cooperate in the probe, the actor said.

Singh also said that even the Bihar Police was not willing to file an FIR till Chief Minister Nitish Kumar intervened. “When we approached the Bihar Police to lodge an FIR, they said high-profile people are involved. I am thankful to CM Nitish Kumar that he considered our request and got minister Sanjay Jha involved. When he explained the matter to the police, then the FIR was registered,” Singh added.

He also demanded Rhea’s immediate arrest, adding, “Her custodial interrogation is necessary to know the truth.”

The lawyer alleged that Rhea had made sure that Sushant was distant from his family. She was not letting him talk to his father or other family members, Singh said.
