Changan, one of China’s four largest automakers, is back in the Philippine market with greater resolve to make an impact despite being on the most challenging periods in the industry. Changan vehicles will be distributed by Changan Motor Philippines, Inc., which is helmed by Ma.
Fe Perez-Agudo. She also heads Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) and steered Hyundai from relative anonymity into one of the country’s most sought-after vehicles today.
Slated for an official launch on November 26, 2020, Changan is poised to hit the ground running with 15 pioneer dealerships with sales and service ready nationwide. It has an other 24 dealerships in the pipeline with a total of 39 envisioned in the next few years.
5 models
To whet customers’ appetites, Changan previewed five new models that will be available and at its launch. These are made up of a subcompact sedan, three SUVs, and a fully-electric vehicle.
