I Feel Like I'm The Forgotten Widow

The widow of tragic aid worker David Haines says she feels abandoned by British authorities.

Dragana Haines said she’s been left in the dark over the prosecution of two Brits accused of a role in the death of her 44-year-old husband in 2014.

The 50-year-old, who lives in Croatia, said: “I feel forgotten about.

“There’s been close to zero contact from the British authorities in the last four years.

“No one has been thinking about me or keeping me up to date.

“ David’s death was very high-profile and there are a number of families, like mine, who were affected.

“Are they being supported? Not if I’m anything to go by.

“I don’t think I should be forgotten about just because I live in Croatia.
