A HUGE NHS and care sector recruitment event has been staged in Plymouth as the city struggles to fill 500 frontline jobs. Plymouth’s _ largest healthcare providers banded together for the career showcase in a bid to fill vacancies for nurses, care workers and home carers and other roles.
Organisers said 15.5% of all Plymouth jobs are in the health and care sector, which is the fastest-growing sector with significant vacancies. There are fully funded training courses available to support new entrants and upskill workers with significant on-the-job training provided.
