Honours for 201 personalities for their contribution to culture since 2011.
The State government on Thursday announced Kalaimamani awards for 201 personalities, including writers, singers, dancers, musicians and actors, for their contribution to culture from 2011.
Popular among them are actors Karthi, Prabhudheva and Vijay Sethupathi.
According to a release, lyricist/poet Pulamaipithan, musician Subbu Arumugam and writer Sivasankari will receive Bharathi awards for the years 2016 to 2018.
Among the recipients for 2018 are Bharatanatyam dancers Binesh Mahadevan, Latha Rajendran, P. Muralidharan and Niveditha Parthasarathy.
C.V. Chandrasekar, Vaijayanthimala Bali and Mrs. and Mr. V.P. Dhananjayan will receive the Balasaraswathi award.
