The pandemic has thrown many of our sleeping patterns out of whack. Not only are we staying up way past our bedtimes, but also waking up late due to lack of routine and structure, and poor sleep hygiene. COVID-related stress, work-from-home and the lockdown also led to people sleeping less than required, or too much, due to corona-induced anxiety.
A recent survey conducted by a social media community platform has found out that 52% Indians surveyed said their sleep patterns changed post the pandemic. “Sleep apnea, waking up during sleep, trouble going to sleep or needing more hours are some other issues reported amongst people,” as per the survey. If you’re among this percentage of those suffering from coronasomnia, here are the measures doctors suggest one follow for better sleep.
