If you’re one of those people who are torn between being a vegetarian yet loving your plate of meat, flexitarianism is for you! A portmanteau of two words, flexible and vegetarian, it’s what many millennial foodies and travel enthusiasts identify as. They want to stick to plant-based meals, knowing the benefits of vegetarianism. However, they don’t want to miss sampling new cuisines and meat delicacies around the world. Hence, they wish to try different varieties of non-veg but consume vegetarian food at home or on most days.
Since a flexitarian diet allows you to choose from a large variety of foods, it has the potential to feed you unhealthy stuff as well. When one does not follow a proper diet, they might develop deficiencies of Vitamin B12, zinc, iron, calcium and Omega 3 fatty acids. One must keep in mind that balance is the key when it comes to this diet
