Top cop shows red signal to delivery boys riding in hurry

The Mumbai Police Chief held a meeting with at least 30 representatives of companies in the field of delivery like courier services, online sales and food delivery business and instructed them to train and keep a check on their delivery boys who are found speeding and violating traffic rules just to deliver the orders before time, failing which it impacts their salary or perks.

Traffic Wardens: The city top cop said he does not want service of traffic wardens in assisting the police in manning traffic. “…I don’t want service of persons other than the policemen who are capable enough to do their duties,” he said in his FB live on Sunday

Passport verification: He said: “The police role is just to verify documents and check if the applicant has any criminal records… There is no need for a person to visit the police station. The constables who visit the address are capable enough to conduct the document check.”

Cut the noise: He has asked all builders and developers and infrastructure agencies, metro rail, to install sound-cutters to keep out noise pollution
