A day after a massive avalanche barrelled into a group of 61 mountaineers of Uttarkashi-based Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) during a training expedition to the Draupadi ka Danda peak in Garhwal Himalayas, 15 of them were rescued by a joint team of ITBP and SDRF on Wednesday. However, 27 others - climbers from across the country still remain missing.Four bodies have been recovered till now, including those of two women instructors at NIM Naumi Rawat and Savita Kanswal. The other two bodies are those of trainees, though their identities have not been disclosed.Inclement weather at the site of the avalanche, situated at around 18,000 ft, was proving to be a big challenge, search agencies said.&quot;According to available information, those missing are trapped in a 60-70-foot-deep crevasse. However, the hopes of survival are very bleak as the golden period of rescue in such situations is not even a couple of hours,&quot; said a senior official involved in the rescue operations.Pauri bus accident death toll up to 32 The death toll in Tuesday&#39;s bus accident near Timari village ahead of Dhumakot in Pauri Garhwal district climbed to 32 on Wednesday after seven more people died overnight. Nineteen people were injured. The bus they were travelling in on way to a wedding plunged into a deep gorge, reports MS Nawaz. Most of those dead, including the groom and at least six women and four children, were residents of Laldhang village in Haridwar.
