The mum of two lets her 17.9K followers into her world of unfiltered parenting with a dash of humour.
Before COVID, I used to take my older daughter Ivana to the parks a lot and would meet other mothers, share a story or two, and listen to theirs. It was a great way to connect with other mothers sharing a similar JOURNEY. But in 2020, when the world was Indoors, there was no way to get that same feeling. I just felt the need to connect with other mothers. It was like standing on the balcony and shouting, “hey we’re ok, the kids are playing. Look at them jumping! How are you all?” Instagram became a way of RELIEVING that feeling of being locked in a closed environment. It was a way to connect authentically with other mothers just like those days in the park. This is also the year that my second daughter was born. And even before I started posting on Instagram, I had to first explain to Ivana why we were not going to the parks anymore? Why were we stuck at home? What do you tell a 2-year-old? I wondered what other parents must be telling their kids!
