For most parents, working from home is a dream, because it allows you to spend more time with your tot and you may not have to deal with separation anxiety or worry about her well being in your absence. I remember this feeling very well when my kids were still small, and I was setting up this brand-new career. Spending all those hours away from home was heart-breaking!
Now, this dream of working from home has come true, and many parents may have realised that it is not the cakewalk that they imagined! There are many challenges that come with the turf and trying to manage them effectively can actually prove to be very stressful. Of course, it does depend on the age of your child. Toddlers tend to find some way or the other to keep themselves entertained, whereas an infant will require all your time and attention!.
Due to the pandemic, one of the biggest challenges that most households are facing is no domestic help. So, besides taking care of your baby and your attending to your work responsibilities, you also have to manage the household chores, and they can surely pile up. One of the first things you need to do to counter this is make a list of all the chores that need to be done. List them in order of priority so that you can manage your time better. Next is the task of delegation.
