What characteristics must a travel photographer possess?

Patience

To get great travel, landscape, and wildlife photos, you have to be willing to wait and wait and wait. Sometimes this can be for hours or even days at a time. Patience is your best ally in terms of getting the perfect shot.

Curiosity

I love learning about the story behind my photos, and the story can be about a place, a person, or even a moment in time related to the location you’re photographing.

Flexibility

Just because you are looking for a photo of a particular place, person, or animal, doesn’t mean that a better shot won’t present itself to you if you’re open to it. Always be looking around or even up and down, enter a building on a whim, climb a hill to get a new perspective, ask the locals for access to a different vantage point.

Passion

The job of being a travel photographer is not as glamorous as it looks in social media posts. There are many problems that you often face but the incredible and rewarding experiences make you drive always.

How would you describe your photography style?

Dried and Dusted

The West Bengal state of India has always been known for its rich culture and diversity. This innate taste and style is reflected in their dishes too. Their cuisine is essentially. A lot of its flavours and masala mixes have been handed down from over a thousand years and Bengalis to this day retain those recipes which make them truly “shonar Bangla” dishes.
