Afghanistan is a vast land filled with biodiversity and since it is on a path of becoming a great civilization, every province has a specific definition of personalities that reflect the geographical and residential changes, along with the individual and group, social and political identity.
Clothing and specific figures are defined in each province. The reflection of the traces of the ancient orientation and, of course, great civilizations in different periods can be seen on individual faces and group behavior.
I spoke this preface to show the collection of portraits of women from Afghanistan, where I bring some of these figures together with various clothing styles in a new blend, in front of the camera to reveal the beauty of females on the grounds of traditional aspects.
Pashtun faces, Tajik, Uzbek, Qizilbash, Hazhayi, along with a special coverage of these tribes, are featured in this collection. These face the stigma around stereotyped Afghan women underneath the burqa, portray them in a beautiful yet traditional style.
