Fine Art Photography isn't just about pressing the shutter button. It is about turning yourself inside out, visualizing both beautiful and socially critical topics, and making the previously unseen visible. It is also about repealing the laws of nature utilizing photo editing and creating something completely new and unexpected for the viewer. Something that triggers astonishment, enthusiasm, or even rejection in the viewer. In the best case, it does not only touches people emotionally but also expresses something in the world. Shaking things up with art and healing with art therapy are integral parts of my work.
'Femmes des Fleurs' is a creative, experimental photo series about the symbiosis between humans and nature. About the strength of women and about becoming and passing away. Both the human body and nature should be treated with care. The woman and the female body symbolize tenderness and softness. The porcelain is a symbol of fragility but also a strength because the porcelain, as fragile as it may seem, holds everything together and allows new life to grow.
