Incredible Coincidences!

Here's a quick exercise. Take out your Hthinking hats; and as you wear them, just imagine how would you react if all that you're about to read were true? Think!

* Your birthday falls on exactly the same date (day and month) as that of your child's!

* You're out of office to have some good family time. When you reach the cinema hall, you find your colleague, who is also on planned leave, and has come to the same hall to see the very same movie with his family. Of course, both of you didn't have any prior discussion regarding this!

* While returning from work one day, the weather was quite rainy; so, you bought samosas (stuffed patty) and jalebi (sweet) for your family. However, when you reached home, you found that they had also bought samosas and jalebi, that too from the same vendor!

* Here's more... It turns out that each time your uncle comes home to visit you, you are wearing the same blue shirt!

* You are travelling from Delhi to Jaipur by the same train after a gap of two years. The same person is seated next to you as was 2 years back.

* You went to attend a seminar. Of all the fifteen attendees present, ten had the first name as Ajay.

These were mere examples. Events like these must have occurred in your life at one time or the other. Jokingly or sadly, based on the nature of the events, we shrug them off calling them as mere coincidences.

According to the dictionary, coincidence is defined as an occasion when two or more incidents or situations are linked to one another via the time and place of occurrence; however, the reason behind their connection is not discernible. In other words, coincidence can also be called as a series of events that happen spontaneously yet seem to have been pre-planned.
