Is It Time To Try HFT?

Let me ask you some questions; do you like bacon and mugs of tea? Do you like getting out in the countryside and meeting new and slightly odd people? Have you ever looked at a muddy floor in a wood and thought to yourself, ‘I fancy lying down in that?’ Well, if the answer to any of these is ‘yes’, then HFT could very well be the sport for you.

Over the years, I’ve often been asked, ‘How do I get involved in shooting as a hobby? What do I need to know? How good do I need to be? What is the cost, and what sort of kit do I need? So, here’s a quick guide to HFT and the dos and don’ts.

To begin, HFT is a very friendly to take part in. There are clubs all over the country, and they are populated by tea-drinking, bacon-eating, gun-loving people, who will be more than happy to give you all the help you could ever need, and they’ll welcome you with open arms.

If bacon is not your thing, we do have a few vegetarians who shoot, but we make them wear special badges so you know who they are. The sorts of people who shoot HFT are youngsters from the age of nine up to shooters who are in their 80s, plus we have plenty of ladies and families and we even have a Rex, but luckily there is only one of him.

To break HFT down, we need to look at the sport’s five main requirements, which are: where to take part, what you need to take part, the cost and what sort of ability you need, and finally, the basic rules.

WHERE TO TAKE PART?
