TGI: How’s camp going so far?
TC: Good man, good. We’re getting to work, preparing for the season. As for me personally, I feel good, feel excited that we have the same system so that I am familiar with what coach Graham wants us to do.
TGI: Talk about the transition from Year 1 to Year
TC: Well I’m still young, still learning. I come in everyday excited to be with my teammates, catching up on any new schemes. Every day is a learning process in this league. Last year was like foreign to me - the terminology, schemes etc. This year I feel I know most of what is called by coach Graham and that makes it easier. That’s the biggest difference from last year.
TGI: Did you play more than you expected to last season? How do you feel the year went for you?
TC: Last year was such a learning process coming into the league. It’s all the little things like getting to know your teammates, the facility, and then COVID putting a twist into everything. But I knew if I got the chance to play that I could show my thing and make an impression on the coaches. I hope I did that. Yeah, I made a lot of mistakes last season, but I felt I learned from them and improved each and every day. Coach Judge always talks about improving every day. I think I did.
