After a successful return to the grass delivering technical sessions to the talented young players on our Summer courses, we were thrilled with the return of our Evening Player Development Programmes in early September 2020 – which was simultaneous to the start of the Premier League and Women’s Super League seasons – and Holiday Player Development Programme during October half-term, seeing over 450 players attend our courses in the first few months of the season.
Unfortunately, all grassroots football was then halted due to the national lockdown in November. We, like all of our players and coaches, were disappointed to not be able to be out on the pitch doing what we love. As such, we were determined to innovate and inspire our players, ensuring they were able to continue their development at home.
