MOUSSA SISSOKO believes there is a big opportunity for us to taste success this season, as long as we can navigate through what is a hectic February of fixtures.

SEARCHING FOR SUCCESS

Moussa Sissoko feels we are entering a pivotal stage of our season.

So far this campaign, results have been largely encouraging for us and, in this exceptional season, we remain in the fight on all four fronts. Of course, there have been difficult moments, but the team has continually shown a fight and a desire to bounce back.

It has also been a hectic schedule of fixtures for the players to date and that is something that is only going to continue and intensify with our upcoming return to Europa League action as well as the next round of our FA Cup campaign.

Over the remaining 24 days of this month, we have eight games to play and each one of those will have a considerable bearing on the direction of our season. Beginning tonight against Chelsea in the Premier League, we then take on West Brom on Sunday before our FA Cup fifth-round tie with Everton. Next, we are back in league action as we travel to Manchester City before we resume our Europa League campaign with our round of 32 encounter with Wolfsberger. That two-legged tie is separated by a trip to West Ham in the league before we round February off by hosting in-form Burnley.

Despite the gruelling fixture list in front of us, it is not something that concerns Moussa because he believes the depth of talent in our squad puts us in good stead. Pointing to the injury problems we faced at this stage last season, the Frenchman feels the investment made in the team over the summer has given us every fighting chance to have success this season, with the now increased competition in the group and the option to rotate.
