We are always thinking of ways to harness emerging technologies to transform the future travel experience. Much of these solutions are still in their initial stages of development.
We expect the adoption of blockchain applications in the Middle East and beyond to transform the travel industry heading into 2018. In particular, these applications will improve four important components of the travel business: simplified and more secure passenger identification, improved baggage tracking, more user-friendly loyalty schemes, and simplified payments between travel agencies and airlines.
