Infinity Ward reimagines and reloads the best cod for anew generation

Leon Hurley
Call Of Duty- Modern Warfare

Developer infinity Ward isn’t continuing the original modern Warfare series – its grounded action, believable characters and take on military combat has rarely been bettered. instead, the studio is taking that idea of the original and reimagining it. So captain Price, the cinematic take on military conflict and story have been rebuilt for both today’s gameplay and expectations. as studio narrative director Taylor Kurosaki puts it, “What do the words ‘modern warfare’ mean in 2019?”

From what oXm has seen it’s a stern mix of tense gunplay and, likely, controversy. One story beat includes a terrorist attack on Piccadilly Circus, involving car bombs and gunmen. So far it’s only been shown in teasing glimpses, when London police officer Sergeant Kyle Garrick arrives as the attack starts, and for good reason: the screams, chaos and flashes of people gunned down in the aftermath suggest a scene that isn’t shying away from real-world attacks.
