BETTER PERFORMANCE FOR LESS

Google's newest phones-the Pixel 6 ($599) and 6 Pro (P$899)-are powered by no less than the company's custom-developed Tensor chip, which takes after the Tensor Processing Units (TPU) Google uses in its data centers. This 5nm SoC allows the phones to run smoother and launch apps faster with up to 80% performance increase over its predecessor, the Pixel 5.

Designed specifically around the Pixel 6 phones' artificial intelligence, the Tensor chip takes mobile photography to a new level. Both phones have a 50-megapixel 1/1.31-inch Samsung GN1 sensor that combines pixels for a final 12.5MP image. It's a big improvement from Pixel 5's main camera, as it can capture 150 percent more light, with its f/1.85 aperture.

Both Pixels also come with 12MP ultrawide lenses, while the 6 Pro has an additional 48MP telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. The Pixel 6's selfie shooter is 8MP with an 84-degree field of view, while the 6 Pro's is 11.1 MP with 94 degrees for easier group selfies.
