Now BenQ has used the same design to create a device that goes beyond the skills of a 4K laser TV projector. The V7050i attempts to be the device for staunch video enthusiasts who are hard to impressed with the processed output.The V7050i offers the same sliding-roof design of the V6000 with a luxurious fabric surface facing the user and heat vents at the sides complete with the same footprint and eye care sensor that shuts off the laser light source when someone approaches the lamp area while the device is in operation. BenQ seems to have worked on the sensitivity of the sensor. Now in the rare chance of someone leaving fingerprints on the cover glass (probably while setting it up), the device warns you every time you switch it on till you clean the sensor glass properly. Setting it up is quite simple with four adjustable legs, pattern grid and vertical keystone correction. You can use a white wall or one of BenQ&#39;s range of ALR screens as projection surface. The 7050i provides an integrated screen size measuring tool that allows you to set up the device quickly so that the projection area matches your screen size. The device now ships with an Android TV dongle, which negates the need for a separate smart TV stick to get started with your OTT experience. The dongle has a separate remote control. A rear USB Type A 2.0 port supplies 1.5A of current to dongles while a USB Type A 2.0 and a USB Type A 3.0 port at the side deliver 1.0 and 2.5 A respectively. BenQ has retained the RS-232 parallel port. The laser light source offers 2500 Lumens of brightness and has a declared life of 20,000 hours.
