There are rotary paddles in the tank that rotate while rowing and the water creates basic resistance. The resistance can be adjusted from 0 to 100 with a control wheel. The rower has a smartphone/tablet mount, which can easily accommodate up to a 10-inch tablet. Apart from rowing, the device allows you to work your arms with basic curls and standing rows. You can even use the seat as an ab roller.The Flexrower+ is built solid with a rugged frame and a smooth pulley system along with a freely moving seat. The height of the footrest can be adjusted, and an adjustable fastening loop provides a firm grip. The Flexnest app provides extensive trainer-assisted virtual workout sessions as well as virtual rows along scenic waterbodies around the world. The app helps you to monitor your stats like stroke rate, resistance, power output and heart rate (if you pair the device with the Flexnest Flexmonitor or any other compatible heart rate monitor) in addition to the distance rowed, calories burnt and duration of workout.
