This year, the Mi A3 enters the fray with its beautiful looks and practical hardware choices.The Mi A3 is Xiaomi&rsquo;s third Android One device and the Mi A3 is by far one of the most beautiful phones we&rsquo;ve used this year in this price range. Although the phone is available in three colors, we tested the uniquely named &lsquo;More than White&rsquo; that looks gorgeous with its dynamic holographic design and ergonomic-friendly 3D rear curve, giving the phone an excellent in-hand feel. The front, back, and even the camera lens glass are covered with Gorilla Glass 5 for improved protection against scratches. Furthermore, the Mi A3 also comes with P2i coating to protect the phone against water splashes and spills.The front is a 6.08-inch Super AMOLED display with a dot notch camera at the top. While the AMOLED display is a nice addition in the Mi A3, the display supports HD+ (1560x720) resolution, which is good enough for everyday tasks with vibrant colors and deep blacks and but not as sharp as previous Mi A-series phones.The Mi A3 is powered by Qualcomm&rsquo;s latest Snapdragon 665 chip with Adreno 610 GPU and option of 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Our review unit delivered lag-free performance for the majority of the tasks and running the latest version of Android means, the phone supports a variety of Google services, including Digital Wellbeing that gives a detailed insight on the how the phone is used.When it comes to unlocking the device, the phone supports both face and fingerprint unlock. Both work well but we found the in-screen fingerprint scanner to be slow. The 4030mAh lasts more than a day with regular use that can be charged with the bundled 10W charger and supports up to 18W fast charge.Xiaomi was one of the first companies to use Sony&rsquo;s IMX586 48MP sensor, so it&rsquo;s unsurprising to see Mi A3 fitted with the same. However, complementing it is an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth. The phone uses Xiaomi&rsquo;s camera app and clicked good quality photos in daylight but degrades a little in low-light. There&rsquo;s a dedicated night mode that helps a bit.All said and done, the question to ask is the Mi A3 worth the price?
