Jason Santos catches up on the happenings from the last two Sunday Stories at the Garage Café, which played host to music, travel and culinary enthusiasts.
ARCHITECTS, designers, music enthusiasts and story tellers- we have seen it all, or so we thought. Sunday Stories over the past few weekends have been bringing interesting glocals from across the board to a platform where they have managed to express themselves and enthral the crowds gathered with their anecdotes.
In the previous couple of chapters, the crowd assembled at the funky cafe by the Baga Creek got a chance to listen to people from varied backgrounds. Vinyl music man - Buland Shukla; Artisan baker, known for his brilliant breads - Sujit Sumitran; M.C. and rap artist- Manmeet Kaur; architect- Donovan Gracias and popular traveller, blogger and true Goan at heartFernando Monte da Silva were a few who spoke, sang, shared bread and let others into the secrets of traditional Goan desserts amongst a host of other stuff.
