2019's Biggest Wellness Trend!
Cosmopolitan - South Africa|July 2019

How do you breathe? If your answer is ‘in, then out and again’, you can’t have been paying attention to 2019’s biggest wellness trend. Yep, breathing workshops are now taking off across the globe, with The Big Breath Company hosting workshops in London and, here in Mzansi, The Art of Living in Cape Town offers a range of meditation and breathing courses. Some of the workshops basically take you through the breath-related parts of yoga – without the need to balance on one leg – and come with all sorts of benefits. Studies have shown that you could enjoy everything from a clearer mind to pain relief, lowered blood pressure and even better memory capabilities.

Thought resistance was futile? Not when it’s in loop form. These pocket-sized training tools will really boost your at-home workout game

Do the moves in a circuit, with no resting in between sets. ‘Keep the loop tight at all times to get the best results,’ she advises. ‘And if your muscles are burning and quivering like crazy, you’re doing it right.’ Noted.
