The OG of reality TV talks love, life and money-moves

The Age Of Paris Hilton

Meet the woman who put Kim Kardashian on the map, 90s fashion icon and the OG of reality TV. Who could forget The Simple Life, which recently celebrated 15 years since it was first aired.

Paris is still very much a supporter of her experience and took to Instagram in December last year to revel in her reign on the show. Happy 15 Year Anniversary to #TheSimpleLife, she wrote in the caption. “Loves it! [sic] So many fun, amazing & hilarious memories with Nicole. Love that this show is so timeless & iconic. And that it has brought so much happiness and laughter to people around the world. And the #Legend Tinkerbell who I love & miss very much. #TheOGs.”

Paris found her socialite fame when she was just a teenager modelling in New York. Being the grand-daughter of Conrad Hilton had its perks but Paris didn’t rest on her laurels and has since made big waves in the industry, creating an empire for herself. Sales of her perfumes alone exceed $ 2.5 billion and are the most successful perfumes since the late Elizabeth Taylor’s very own perfume line debuted. Taylor was Paris’ great aunty and she revealed to us that there has been a great deal of inspiration from the remarkable actress.

She announces that as a young girl she idolised her great aunty and wanted to be just as glamourous as her when she ‘grew up’. We think she has achieved her goal and then some. With a fortune behind her and die-hard fans, it is easy to see why people love Paris so much.
