What: Skill building education MasterClass

It was the first ever hands-on, skill-building education MasterClass hosted by Godrej Professional. More than 100 hairstylists from across India had gathered to be a part of the class conducted by the brand’s education and technical ambassadors Asha Hariharan, Ryan D’Rozario and Sylvia Chen. Over the 3-day MasterClass, budding stylists witnessed the latest haircuts of 2019, being demonstrated live on stage by these renowned hairstylists and also practiced them on mannequins. The participating stylists also got the chance to interact with the senior leadership and sales and technical teams at a social evening hosted by the brand.

Godrej Professional is known for its strong commitment towards development and empowerment of the Indian salon industry. Discussing the objective of this skill-building exercise, Sunil Kataria, CEO-India and SAARC, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, stated, “Our vision is to transform the Indian salons and transformation comes from education. We aim to be technical masters in providing customized, transformative education with breakthrough salon products specially designed for Indian hair. This exercise will not only develop their skills but also enhance their livelihood opportunities. This is just the beginning; we plan to take more such initiatives and introduce new education modules in the coming days.”
