Dawn King says although working far away from home is tough, it’s all worth it
MAINTAINING a successful career in the entertainment industry, along with a happy home life, can be a difficult task. Getting to every meeting, audition and shoot on time and still being able to attend to your children is enough to drive any mom crazy. But it seems like Uzalo actress, Dawn Thandeka King, has it all under control.
She has managed to strike a balance between family life and work. Although this mother of four girls and a boy lives in Durban where Uzalo is shot, she spends most of her free time in Johannesburg where the rest of her family is based.
HARDWORKING MOM
The actress, who plays MaNgcobo on the drama series, says although being away from her family can be tough at times, it’s all for a good cause.
