The actress branches out of soapie-ville to pursue her true calling
BUSINESS woman and actress, Phindile Gwala, is saying her goodbyes to the popular SABC2 soapie, Muvhango, which made her a household name. She says it’s time to leave the soapie, which she has called home for the nearly five years. The actress plans to focus on her passion of becoming a preacher and other future endeavours.
THE REASON BEHIND HER DEPARTURE
Phindile became a household name after she came into the limelight as Nonny in 2013 after spending a few years in theatre. Playing the loud‚ likable character, Phindile quickly became a fan favourite on the soapie as her character’s storyline grew.
But the bubbly actress feels that it’s time to grow her name outside of Muvhango.
