Lerato and Siya create magic even though they admit that working together can be challenging
ACTORS Lerato Mvelase and Siyabonga Radebe’s relationship is not perfect, but this couple has managed to make it work. The pair has worked together in front of the camera and behind the scenes, and they both admit that it’s not an easy thing to do.
LOVE ON AND OFF SCREEN
Even though the couple shies away from the spotlight when it comes to their relationship, they somehow end up working together on television.
They were recently on Mzansi Magic’s Saints And Sinners as Phakamani and Rosie. Phakamani is a thug obsessed with ending the life of a woman he believes destroyed his life. With the help of Rosie – a naïve Christian woman who falls in love with him – he escapes from jail. Rosie later realises that her hopes for a happily-ever-after with Phakamani may not become a reality.
In real life, Lerato and Siyabonga have a daughter together. They recently told a daily newspaper how they felt about working together on a sitcom for SABC called Him, Her and Guys.
