Family reunion triggers bad memories for Khumbul’ekhaya presenter
APE activist and Khumbul’ekhaya presenter, Andile Gaelesiwe, opened up for the first time in 2002 about the ordeal she allegedly encountered at the age of 11. Now it has recently surfaced that she was raped by someone she knows – her father.
MEMORIES FROM THE PAST
During a radio interview, Andile revealed that she was raped when she visited her father.
“One Friday night at his house, he was sitting on the bed watching TV. He told me to come over to the bed. He tickled me and the next thing I knew, he was on top of me. When I could get away from under him, I ran into the bathroom. I locked myself in there and spent the night there. I never saw him after that,” said Andile.
