IT’S hard to imagine someone hurting a child but sadly, this is a reality we are faced with in South Africa. Recently, South Africa has seen an increase in children who go missing, only to be found either sexually abused or murdered.

The recent case that sent shockwaves throughout the community of Elsie’s River in Cape Town is that of three-year old Courtney Pieters who was sexually assaulted, killed and buried in a shallow grave.
