The actor explains what he went through to be where he is today
YOU might have seen Thulane Shange (23) on Mzansi Magic’s Is’thunzi and recently on Ikhaya, and thought he was striking but what he does on his role as Tony in iNumber Number, is quite remarkable. He is indeed an actor on the rise and he’s here to stay. Thulane shares how getting his role on Is’thunzi changed his life.
HE LACKED SELF-CONFIDENCE
Thulane says before getting the role of Lwazi on Is’thunzi, he always had doubts about his acting capabilities and talent.
“A single moment that changed my life for good has to be when I got a call that I had scored a role on Is’thunzi. I was shocked and the reality only hit me when I received a script and I was on set shooting,” he says.
He then realised how talented he is and started taking himself seriously.
