Bank says 116-year-old gogo is too old to get a card for her social grant.

A WOMAN aged 116 was told she was too old to carry on receiving her pension. Maria Felix Nava, who lives in the city of Tlaquepaque, in the western Mexican state of Jalisco, received 3 600 MXN (about R2 500) from Mexico's Secretary of Development and Social Integration (Sedis) every two months, which she used to pay for vitamins and medicine that she needs.

REQUEST FOR HELP 

Her daughter, Marina Gutierrez, explains that Maria went to the local authorities to renew the card that credits her to be supported by the state.
