Princess of Africa gets nominated for an international award and says it encourages her to do more good
DESPITE having received a number of accolades for her music and philanthropic work, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, is ecstatic about her BET International Global Good Star and Power Award nomination.
DOING GOOD FOR OTHERS
Speaking to Move! just before she jetted off to Los Angeles in the US, the Princess of Africa says she feels overwhelmed.
“I have received lots of awards before, but this BET one was the last thing on my mind,” she says.
When she received the news, she was with her family and they were over the moon.
