Martin Clunes stars in Vanity Fair, the new period drama that will set your heart racing!

This autumn, escape to a vibrant world full of handsome heroes, gorgeous frocks, romance, fights and ballroom dancing with ITV’s brand new drama series Vanity Fair.

The show, an adaptation of a 19th-century novel by William Thackeray, follows the story of an ambitious young woman set on climbing the social ladder to become rich and successful.

With a star-studded cast including Martin Clunes, Suranne Jones, Frances de la Tour and Michael Palin, it’s predicted to be September’s most thrilling show.

Set in 1812, the seven-part series stars international actress Olivia Cooke as the mischievous 19-year-old Becky Sharp who, with no family or money, plans to better herself by marrying someone above her station.

Filmed in Budapest and London, Becky’s journey takes her all the way to the court of King George IV, breaking hearts as she goes.
