This year’s Strictly al is well and truly star-studded, but we’re most excited about the return of our favourite Ann Widdecombe…
It’s nearly time for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special! And it’s set to be a good one as everyone’s favourite teetering Strictly star, Ann Widdecombe, prepares to be spun, swung and flung across the dance floor once more.
“You can’t really call what I do dancing,” laughs Ann. “Anton certainly doesn’t! I’ve no dance talent at all. But he understands the limitations of someone like me who just can’t hear music.
“What we do is entertaining, basically. I think we’re just going to make people laugh and have fun!”
Former politician Ann last took to the Strictly stage back in 2010, charming us all with her resistance to the sexy samba, ability to laugh at herself and her willingness to just have fun with dance partner Anton du Beke.“Anton always gets the duffers for obvious reasons – he’s the perfect gentleman and he knows how to deal with people who can’t dance, which would otherwise frustrate a lot of professionals.
“He just goes with the ability or lack thereof of each individual. He’s the perfect partner – considering he’s a foot taller than I am.
“And we’ve just started training again.
