1 THE PREQUEL … It’s been three months since Game of Thrones’ nal episode screened, but it’s not really farewell to this ctional world because GoT author George RR Martin and showrunner Jane Goldman have been hard at work on a spin-off series. Set in the Age of Heroes, about 5000 years before the events of GoT, there’s no Jon Snow (sob!) or Iron Throne, no King’s Landing and no Targaryens, but Josh Whitehouse of Poldark fame, Naomi Watts and Miranda Richardson have all signed on to star and began lming in Belfast, Ireland in May.
