The Humble Tea Towel Takes Kerre on a Trip Down Memory Lane

It’s funny the things that bring back memories. Facebook’s very good at reminding me of good times past with its ‘On this day...’ posts. It’s also very good at reminding me how much weight it’s possible to put on in the space of a couple of years!

Precious pieces of jewellery remind me of my husband and daughter – they’re precious not so much because of their monetary value, but because of how much they mean to me.

I’ve never really worn necklaces, but I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve taken off the necklace my daughter and son-inlaw gave me for Christmas. It has the birth stones of both my grandchildren on it, and every time I wear it I feel the babies close to my heart. It gives me comfort given they live on the other side of the world.
