BALI VIBES
Create a sense of serenity in your bathroom with pared-back pieces in neutral tones and a variety of natural textures. Tropical plants and scattered shells will enhance the feeling of escapism
PUT IT TOGETHER
Plants are key to this look. Try sourcing a range of plants that will grow well in a bathroom. Ask your local garden centre for advice – let them know where the natural light source will be and what size plant you need.
Mix it up with potted plants and cut stems. An effective look can be achieved by adding water to a large glass vessel and popping in a couple of palm fronds. Here we have used two bird-of-paradise leaves, with one cut shorter to create a balanced look.
Use different wood tones together. We have mostly stuck to mid tones here, but different finishes in the mirror, duckboard, stool and ladder create interest.
Bring the ocean into your space with a shell necklace, natural sea sponge and shell planter. This creates a tranquil, island vibe that will make your bathroom a destination.
