I cut out sugar from my diet last year and I’ve never felt better. It’s made a huge difference to my energy levels. I used to be a real biscuit and chocolate friend and suffer from all the horrendous sugar highs and lows, but now I don’t have any of them. I sleep better, I’m calmer and more focused. It helped me lose a stone, too. It wasn’t rapid weight loss; it just gradually dropped off me over the course of a few months, which is a healthier way to do it. Wine is still part of my life though! I want to live longer, and well, but I don’t want to be bored.
