CAN WE HAVE THE REAL HARRY BACK?

Charming, disarming and with that cheeky glint in his eye, an evening with the fun-loving prince would be a roller-coaster of laughs.

On royal tours, he was the only family member who’d make an effort to meet the journalists who had flown thousands of miles in order to cover his trip.

For the bulk of his adult life, Harry was the perfect antidote to the stuffy side of the ‘institution’ to which he so reluctantly belonged. He offered a refreshing sense of being a down-to-earth people’s prince.

Yes, he could be hotheaded. But no matter who tried to write him off as a disgrace, the public adored Diana’s younger son and would forgive him, it seemed, almost anything. Why? Because Harry has held a special place in so many hearts ever since the day as a young boy when, head bowed, he walked silently behind his mother’s coffin.

Where is the gratitude?
