Michael Bublé talks to Woman about his baby news and why making music is not his priority
‘My family comes BEFORE WORK'
After Michael and his wife of 11 years, 34-year-old actress Luisana Lopilato, announced the happy news that they’re set to welcome their fourth child later this year, we spoke exclusively to the 46-year-old Canadian crooner about how his love for his family drove him to getting fitter.

You describe making your new album Higher as a ‘magical’ and ‘supernatural’ experience. What’s behind that?

I think it’s impossible not to cite what we’ve been through with our kids. (The couple’s eldest son Noah, eight, was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016 at just three years old. He has been in remission since 2017.)

I think all of us felt this deep sense of fear and anxiety during the pandemic and, honestly, my family’s healthy, my kid is healthy and so I felt light and free making the album. I just refuse to be scared of anything now.

I decided I was going to enjoy it and let go and allow the universe to pour it all inside and have the greatest time of my life making a very, very special record. Maybe I’ve finally learned how to do it after 20 years!

You’ve definitely nailed it! Have you ever suffered from imposter syndrome?
