The Jubilee is a reminder that the controversial royal cannot have it both ways. Trying to carve out a lucrative career in America courtesy of his royal heritage is simply incompatible with the values Her Majesty holds so dear.

Throughout her 70-year reign, her message has been simple and consistent - the Royal Family is not for sale. Never once has the Queen given in to the temptation of feathering her own nest or lending her name to a good cause in return for cash.

The Duke of Sussex's feud with his brother and father may still be raging, but the sight of the once-adored royal aside his grandmother tells us everything we need to know. Prince Harry adores his grandmother, and his recent claim that they have their own very special bond is not far from the mark. It was forged in the days after the death of his mother, Princess Diana, when the Queen threw her arms around Harry and held him tight.
