Are Male Breadwinners Sexy?

No ‘We like to work together, as a team’

Carol Driver, 43, lives in Essex, with husband, Rich, 43, and their daughter, Amelia, three. I don’t find my husband less attractive just because he doesn’t earn as much as I do. Expecting the man of the house to provide financially is such an outdated notion.

Having always been the main earner, as a journalist, he was in sales, I used to joke that Richard could become a house husband – but that wouldn’t suit either of us. So we work together as a team.

From our first date in 2008, I paid half – and it’s carried on like that ever since. I still fancied him, though – he’s 6ft 1in, with a great physique, every inch a man! And even now, we split every bill – from shopping and nights out, to holidays and cars.
