1 Prep and soak
It's so easy to neglect your feet in the winter months, hidden away in tights and boots. It's likely your skin is looking a bit dry and hard, so start with a foot soak to soften things up - add some Epsom salts to the tub and soak your feet for 15 minutes or so. Or, if you have more time on your hands before you need to be sandal-ready, try an exfoliating treatment, like Footner Exfoliating Socks, £9.99, Boots. Wear the pre-soaked socks for an hour then, after a few days, any dry skin will start to peel off in satisfyingly (albeit slightly horrifying) layers.
