Harry & William ‘Diana's Dream For Her Boys Is Over'

There’s no doubt that Diana, Princess of Wales would be devastated by her sons’ seemingly fractured relationship. If this amazingly caring and emotional woman were still with us today, her heart would be utterly and permanently broken.

Princes William and Harry were her world. And given the traumas she experienced as a royal, her one constant piece of advice to her boys was to always be there for one another, no matter what. Now the nuclear button has been pressed on a brotherly love that will never be repaired.

Harry’s shock decision to step back as a senior royal and move thousands of miles across the Atlantic to play happy families with Meghan and baby Archie has devastated his brother.

‘I’ve put my arm around my brother all our lives and I can’t do that anymore, we’re separate entities,’ William, 37, reportedly confessed to a friend. What a heart-rending mess. Anyone who witnessed those two boys trailing their mum’s coffin through the tear-sodden streets of London back in

1997 will realise just how bad things must be for William to say that. Both were born with duty, a job for life. Both adore their grandmother, the Queen. Both share a bond with the awful loss of their mum. While William has turned tragedy into triumph with a successful marriage to Kate and three beautiful children, Harry, it seems to me, has used it to become bitter, self-obsessed and selfish.
