Jodie Whittaker’s character Cath pretends that she’s someone she’s not. She comes up to Edinburgh so she’s not known to anybody up here and my character Brigitte gives her a job as a doctor. She turns out to be just really, really good and I think that she’s heaven sent.

But of course she’s not a real doctor, she’s actually a nurse…
